My Story

Welcome to Upward Knowledge!
I am an immigrant woman, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. When I came to the U.S., like all immigrants new to any country, I faced several cultural shocks and challenges as I learned the American system and attempted to acculturate and assimilate into my new culture and society. I am therefore intimately aware of how much more challenging this process can be for children and youth. As a result, I established this non-profit as a way to share the experiences my friends and I have faced with other immigrant families, children and youth.
My desire is to connect with you and build community with you through providing support and assistance in navigating you in the new country and overcoming challenges.
I seek to do this by being present with you, sharing and receiving knowledge and learning with you and from you. I look forward to the amazing adventures we will have together in this beautiful country as we seek opportunities that help us learn to see the endless possibilities available to us.
